Welcome to the WebHome of CS4H!

"Gaurdian o' teh i'net unevirse as we no it,
erph's werst spheller,
and at times ectstreem exzaderator! YAP :-----)"

My name is Robbie Rothermel, I'm 15, and my screen name is CS4H, which stands for CyberServant4Him. The Him is Jesus, the Servant part is what I want to be for Jesus, and the Cyber part is just who I am.

I really enjoy working with computers; any computers. Mostly I work on learning to program, an never ending task in which there are always new surprises and languages to explore. Usually I program in C, TI-Basic, HTML, or JavaScript; however I know several other languages as well. I also enjoy doing my own graphics design, in fact, all of the graphics on this webpage, with the exception of the ads.

However, my work with computers is somewhat limited by the fact that the fastest computer in our house is a 486 66mhz, and I don't have all the cool tools some other people have. Usually I work with what I have, and I've become pretty good at trying to stretch the limits of our computers. For example, on our 66mhz computer, we have PhotoDeluxe and Microsoft Paint; I combine these programs by copying and pasting information or transferring information through files, and I do pretty well.

However, I do have a cool new apparatus I've been fooling with lately. We got a scanner last night! (Yes!) Now you can come see my beautiful face on my webpage! (Scary...) You can do some much with a scanner: hand writing, your drawings – I'm even using my scanner to help make a game for my calculator! The scanner is just really useful.

Another thing I do with computers is work on my calculators. I own a TI-92+ and a TI-86. I'll be adding more information about calculators probably sometime in the distant future, but suffice it to say that these calculators have LCD graphics displays and are programmable. If you really want more information about these calculators and what people are doing on them right away, I'd suggest visiting ticalc.org, a really great calc resource center.

Oh, and one thing I do a lot when programming is Recreational Mathematics. This is more interesting than it sounds, believe me. Some of the more popular recreational mathematics games are fractals, Life, CoreWars, and Wator. I have information about some of the recreational mathematics fields in my section by that name. You can find it by clicking on the "Rec. Math" link to the right.

I'm hoping to install Red Hat Linux on my computer soon. My friend (who also wants to install Linux) and I have already started the layout and design for a new Linux webpage we'll be designing. Click here to check it out! As of now, only the download Central works, and only the Window Manager portion of that, but it's still getting off to an awesome start!

Well, enjoy my page. The toolbar to the right acts as the "motif" (literary term for unifying factor; more information on literature later) of my webpage; so have fun exploring from those links!

Oh, and if you want to e-mail me, my address goes something like 'CS4H' followed by that silly a in a circle '@' and the domain 'saintmail.net'. Remember, it's .net, not .com. Or, easier yet, click here.

Enjoy my site!

P.S. If the webpage looks blotchy and the colors are mixed up, up your colors from 256 colors to 16-bit colors. Then return and be astounded at the difference!
