Several window managers are available for download from the internet. These manage your X11 windows, and provide graphical user interfaces to ease tasks.

This list is arranged from our most favorite at the top, on down to our least favorite.

	K Destop Environment

	The K Destop Environment (commonly refered to as KDE), is one of the newer X11 window managers. KDE also provides a graphical user interface, similar (but of course, superior) to Windows. Some of it's features include: Tools for file maintenance (copying, deleting, etc.) Pop-up menus and much more.

	Gnome

	One of the tried and true window managers. This manager actually uses Enlightenment (included in the download) as the GUI system.
